LUCY HOPKINS
Holy Idiot, Clever Witch
me me me
Lucy Hopkins is a show-off and an award-winning clown, director, creative consultant, workshop leader, High Priestess of Idiot and clever person. She makes a magical living growing people’s pleasure (inc. her own) and helping them (and herself) to share it.
She tours her award-winning spectacles and uplifting workshops in English and French versions around the UK, Europe and on Zoom too. She contributes to other peoples' projects too in all sorts of ways, collaborating with fantastic performers, companies, directors and creative humans of all kinds to help bring their excellent ideas into the world.
The foundation of all of her work is her full-hearted belief that people are tremendous.
You are too, probably. You should call her.

(Au Sujet Des Femmes Puissantes)
A Vibrational Revolution of Being channeled by a Goddess. Part electro-ritual, part theremin-experiment, part light-fantastic. Ultra-conscious comedy by award-winning, internationally-touring, terribly present clown. Come as you are. Leave transformed.
"…an extraordinary show …a wonderful experience" Scotsman
"…takes femininity and turns it into the most spiritual, enchanting and indeed: powerful of phenomena…" Ed Fringe Review
Inspired by the wizard mind of
eco-philosopher Mohammed Taleb.
With special thanks to inspired witch Mia Mohr
and creative lunatic Petra Massey.

People are beautiful. Definitely.
And, for the most part, total idiots.
What if, instead of trying to hide that, we embraced it?

There’s a whole world of beautiful performance to
be made if we connect our magnificent inner idiot, accept the moment, take a risk, leap after an impulse and surf the ridiculous wave of our own preposterous glory. Why not.

In these workshops we play lots of games, laugh at each other, laugh harder at ourselves and get some great insight into who we are as performers and the incredible potential to be found in working with what we’ve got.
